DIS-5 centrifugal spray dryer |
Summarize
Spray drying is most widely used for liquid technology shaping and drying industry. It is most suitable for generating powder and granular solid products from solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pumpable pasty liquid raw material. Therefore, spray drying is an ideal technology when there are strict requirements on particle size distribution of the finished product, content of residual water, packing density and particle shape. |
Working principle
After being filtered and heated, the hot air goes into the air distributor at the top of the dryer and enters the drying chamber spirally and evenly. Material liquid that is turned into extremely fine spray by the high speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower flows in parallel and comes into contact with the hot air, allowing it to be dried into finished product in a very short time. Finished products go out continuously from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator. Exhaust gas is emptied by fan. |
Characteristics
1、It is fast drying. Material liquid is atomized with its surface area greatly increased in the hot air so that the 95%-98% moisture can be evaporated instantaneously. The drying will be completed in a few seconds, which makes it especially suitable for drying heat sensitive materials.
2、The products are of high purity and good quality thanks to its good uniformity, mobility and solubility.
3、The production process is simplified and operation and control made convenient. Liquid with moisture of 4060% (for special materials up to 90%) can be dried easily into powder products not requiring any crushing or screening. So the production processes are reduced and the product purity improved. The product size, bulk density and moisture can be adjusted in a certain range by changing the operating conditions and management is very convenient. |
